Living Boldly
Our Mission
Self-advocacy is when people with disabilities represent themselves, their ideas, and their own interests to advocate for changes in their lives and communities. Launched in 2022, Living Boldly is Fello’s self-advocacy group.
This is a public group open to anyone with a disability—you do not have to receive services from Fello to join and participate. Fello supports people throughout Maryland, and every community we serve has unique challenges and opportunities for its residents. Reflecting those diverse needs, Living Boldly offers two chapters, each serving the needs of their communities.
While each chapter has its own leadership and meeting schedules, they have the same mission: to ensure that people with disabilities are fully included, that we speak and make our voices heard on important issues, help each other grow, and encourage more independence.
