For more than 20 years, Fello has partnered with local businesses and sponsors to touch as many lives as possible during the holiday season. We help lessen the burden on families so they can focus on what’s most important – spending time together. We supply holiday gifts to both the child with a disability and their siblings. In addition, we include a $100 grocery store gift card per family (with an additional $25 each extra child) to help prepare a special holiday meal. This year we are supporting 313 children.
We support over 100 families each year. Each family we support has an average of three children and we spend approximately $600 to provide meaningful gifts and grocery assistance.
How You Can Help
There are two ways you can participate in our Holiday Giving program:
Adopt and Shop: Whether you’re participating individually or organizing a group effort at work, Fello’s team will help you identify gifts that will make the biggest impact for your assigned child or family. You handle the shopping, and we’ll take care of distribution.
NEW: We’re introducing an online shopping system that ships gifts directly to us, but you can still shop in-person if you prefer! This should help you locate more specific items.
We typically spend $150 per child, which allows us to purchase 3-4 items from their wish list.
