Matt joined our team in 2018. Since then, Fello has substantially grown the number of people in services throughout the region, supporting more than 4,000 people throughout the state of Maryland and more than doubling the number of people in services on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. With Matt’s guidance, Fello continues to build services that reflect what the community is asking for, empowering people with disabilities and their families to have greater access, choice, and control over their services. His work reflects Fello’s deep commitment to creating opportunities for connection people with disabilities and their families within their communities.
In his time at Fello, Matt has transformed services with a renewed commitment to quality, supported the exponential growth of Self-Directed Services, and improved customer service across all program offerings. He also supported the development and launch of Behavioral Health in 2020, which offers tailored mental health support for people with disabilities and developed a new philosophy around how Fello supports people and their families to connect with their communities throughout their lives through 2Gen Initiatives.
Matt is dedicated and solutions-oriented, leading high-performing teams across Fello in ways that maximize ownership, independence, and collaboration. Matt has decades of experience in leadership within the disability field, including previously serving as the Executive Director of The Arc Frederick County.
Matt holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University.
